Sanitation Project
Cleanliness in the community is just as important as cleanliness for individuals and families. Poor sanitation causes a great deal of unnecessary sickness and death. Poverty and lack of access to toilet facilities often make it difficult for people to improve sanitation. Using toilets protects the health of the whole community. It also provides safety, privacy, comfort and respect to women and children. With this aim, the Alembic CSR Foundation decided to construct household toilets for 100 households of Krishnapura and Sardarawas communities of Sindhrot area giving both these communities the status of “open defecation free” communities!
